The TrueNAS H20 delivers the comprehensive feature set of TrueNAS Open Enterprise Storage, including High Availability (HA), at an entry-level price point. Designed for small and medium businesses, the H20 offers optional dual controllers, hybrid or all-flash configurations, and NVMe support in every bay for low-latency workloads.
With double the cores and cache of the H10, the H20 scales performance and reliability in a compact 2U footprint, supporting expansion shelves up to 3 PB raw capacity. The simplified web-based interface and robust feature set, coupled with the absence of additional licensing costs, make the H20 an accessible yet powerful option for growing businesses handling media storage, VM hosting, and video surveillance workloads.

The TrueNAS H20 is a 2U NVMe-accelerated hybrid NAS with a 10-core controller, 4 GB/s throughput, TrueCache NVDIMM, and up to 4× 10/25 GbE networking. The midrange H-Series model.
CPU and throughput scale through the H-Series: H10 is 4 cores at 2 GB/s, H20 is 10 cores at 4 GB/s, H30 is 20 cores at 8 GB/s. All three share the same chassis, networking baseline, and TrueCache NVDIMM acceleration.
Up to 3 PB raw capacity, the same ceiling as the H30. The H10 sizes a step lower at 1.8 PB raw.
Up to 4× 10/25 GbE. For workloads that need 40/100 GbE on top, the H30 extends the same baseline with 2× 40/100 GbE.
VM block storage, latency-sensitive file shares, mid-market backup repositories where NVMe acceleration matters but the H30's 20-core compute is more than needed.
