The TrueNAS X-Series is a line of compact entry-level enterprise storage appliances that deliver reliability, unbeatable value, and efficient performance over ethernet or fiber channel. Available in hybrid or all-flash configurations, the X-Series provides high availability options for up to 1 PB in capacity.

The TrueNAS X-Series is a compact 2U system with 12 drives and expansion to 72 drives and over 1PB of capacity. Each system can be configured for scalable Hybrid capacity or affordable All-Flash performance. The X-Series is designed for industry-leading Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) with <300W power. Pricing is all-inclusive of TrueNAS Enterprise software and TrueCommand can be used to manage the entire fleet.

The sleek 2U design of the X-Series is designed to minimize rack space and power footprint to provide efficient performance and capacity for small to medium workloads. Despite its small size, a single TrueNAS X20 can support up to 1 PB of raw capacity in just 6U.

Hybrid Flash Performance

Solid-state performance at spinning-disk capacity and cost. TrueNAS leverages ZFS to merge multi-layer DRAM and flash cache with high-density spinning disks: system RAM and SSDs are used to cache reads and writes while HDDs store the data. RAM and SSD performance is significantly faster than HDDs, while power requirements are much lower. TrueNAS lets you increase performance and scale capacity while conserving power and saving money.
